Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place is experimental & fun. The foods pretty unique, the staff is super friendly/caring, and the environment is amusing. The course meal is a nice idea to share between two, especially on dates, to make the dining experience entertaining.

I've been wanting to have a meal at Morimoto for many years. I was a big fan of the original Iron Chef many years ago so that may have influenced me a bit. On Julyl 11th we finally made it happen. I will say that it was easily one of the Top 5 dining experiences I've ever enjoyed. Our group of 6 was treated like royalty by the staff, and there wasn't a single dish I didn't love. We all ordered several courses and passed bites around the table so that everyone got to try everything that they cared to. The atmosphere was relaxed with low light, and sparse decorations so you weren't distracted from the meal or the fellowship. The cocktail menu was extensive, the sake selection even more so. As many others have noted, the light fixtures on the table are a little weird, but not enough take anything away from the experience. LOL From seating until we were out the door was around 3 hours and that was just right for our group. We took our time over each course and never felt rushed by the staff. Truly a memorable meal!!

Atmosphere and service were great! However the food we got was alright. I got vegetable curry and honestly was disappointed with the taste. For a place that is more high end, it was average and tasted packaged like golden curry from the store and not like something made from scratch. Shiitake sushi and mocktail were good.

An amazing Japanese dining experience in the heart of the city. The quality of the fish was top notch. I definitely had some cuts Iβve never tried before which was appreciated. The tuna pizza sounds βridiculousβ but itβs delicious and itβs clear why itβs a staple. The ramen was delicious and authentic as well was the curry. Fantastic stuff. The desert delighted capping the evening off perfectly. A definite must try destination . Dos Nigiris up π£π£

The restaurant is beautiful inside, the decor is very unique. Our server Alex was so nice. The hot stone wagyu with table side presentation was an absolute standout, and the crispy rice with tuna was good as well. My sushi wasnβt bad, but feel like I would go for something different next time. My momβs udon noodle bowl was really great. Definitely would come back here.
